Working with literature: using the written and spoken word to stimulate the visual imagination.A piece of descriptive prose or poetry is read aloud to the group. In the context of the Estuary project literature used included the opening page of Dickens' Great Expectations, and part of Storm Beach from Robert Macfarlane's "Wild Places". Students may also work from their own writings in this way. Guidelines:
